ROLE OF GUARDIAN TEACHER


Sr. No. Role / Responsibility
1To conduct formal and informal meeting with the students.
2Maintain a record of bio-data forms of old and newly added students (if any).
3Nominate a group leader.
4Inform the group leader about his responsibilities.
5Maintain a Time-Table copy of your G.T. group to trace students and inform them.
6Conduct minimum two meetings in each semester.
7The schedule for the first compulsory GT meeting for the session is given.
8Identify financially weaker students from the group.
9H.O.Ds should submit G.T. meeting report department wise.
10Teacher should conduct at least one meeting per semester and be available when needed.
11Arrange Parent Teacher meeting.
12Implement healthy practices and mention them in the report.
13Send list of slow learners / late admitted students to remedial committee convener.
14Coordinator of P.G. Departments acts as G.T. for P.G. students.
15Remedial Committee may take help of fix pay teachers to monitor the scheme.
16Inform students that mobile use in campus is prohibited.
17Remind students about dress code and compulsory ID card usage.
18Sign important documents only for your group students.
19Improve student attendance; contact parents if necessary.
20Educate students about wise use of electricity & cleanliness of campus.
