Guardian Teacher Scheme


ROLE OF GUARDIAN TEACHER


1. To conduct formal and informal meeting with the students.
2. Maintain a record of bio-data forms of old and newly added students (if any) (if any)
3. Nominate a group leader
4. Inform the group leader about his responsibilities.
5. Maintain a Time-Table copy of your G.T. group in your file which will assist you to trace the students in free time and also inform them about your Time-Table.
6. Conduct minimum two meetings in each semester.
7. The schedule for the first compulsory G.T. meeting for the session is given.
8. The G.T's of first year identify financially weaker student from their group.
9. H.O.Ds are requested to submit G.T. meeting report department wise.
10. The teacher should conduct at least one meeting per semester and must be freely available as and when needed by the students.
11. Arrange Parent Teacher meeting
12. Implemented Healthy practices at the level of G.T. and mention the practices Implemented in the report.
13. Send the list of slow learners / late admitted students to the Convener of remedial committee.
14. Co-ordinator of the P.G. Departments is the G.T. of the P.G. students.
15. Remedial Committee may take help of the fix pay teachers to monitor the scheme.
16. Inform the students that the use of mobile in the campus is prohibited.
17. Remind the students about the dress code as per the college prospectus and also compulsory use of Identity -Card in the campus.
18. Throughout the session put signature on the important documents of the students of your group. Strictly do not put the signature on the documents of the students belonging to other teachers.
19. Take care to increase the attendance of the students in the college unit test and exams. In case of absentee of any student in the college directly contact with the parents to increase the attendance.
20. Aware the students about the wise use of electricity & cleanliness of the campus.
